These commercial-grade ball bearing hinges from Cauldham provide the utmost in performance. Crafted from top-quality, cold-rolled steel, these hinges feature a stunning, corrosion-resistant finish and are superior in tolerance, concentricity, and straightness. The hinge leaves are tightly machined to minimize play and utilize smooth, anti-friction ball bearings to allow for smooth and quiet operation. They are ideal for heavy wood and steel commercial (and other intensive use) doors, in both interior and exterior applications. The pin is permanently lubricated and non-detachable for security, and the pin cap protects the bearings from moisture and dust. These are approved for use on fire-rated doors and meet ANSI/BHMA standards. Hinges are mortise mount (designed to be flushed into the door and jamb, as opposed to surface mounted), and are sold in a set of 3. Each hinge leaf is 4.5 inches in height and is pre-drilled with four countersunk holes arranged in a half moon shape. Eight No.12 - 1/4" wood screws and eight 1/2" machine screws are included per hinge for fast and easy installation in any type of door. Hinges have approximately a 270-degree range of motion. Cauldham is the premier source for professional-grade hardware and fixtures that combine stylish design with exceptional quality and durability.
